There's a lot of tools out there that can receive alerts. The Emergency Alert System (EAS) is a national alert system in the United States where the President can address the American public in a national emergency, the system is also used by the National Weather Service to deliver weather alerts like Tornado Warnings for instance. These go not only go through the EAS but also to our devices such as our smart phones within and around the Tornado Warning.
Since we're talking about natural disasters in general, the EAS can be used to deliver alerts about oncoming hurricanes, tornadoes, severe thunderstorms, and even flash floods.
There are a couple things that we can't always have early warning for such as landslides and avalanches. The US West Coast does have ShakeAlert which is a prototype earthquake early warning alert system.
The only feasible solution (and it's not really that feasible) is to move to a different planet. Natural disasters are simply a natural part of our planet. You can only predict and warn of them, and for many of them even this may not be possible. On a different planet, there may not be the same variety of natural disasters, there may be new ones, there may be more/less frequent disasters, but nevertheless there are likely to be some natural disasters even if we move planet. Shelters, defences and warning systems are not solutions, but they're the best we've got. Nature is still more powerful than us, and we cannot hope to overpower it. Maybe in time we will be able to do things that are currently unimaginable. Imagine using gigantic fans to blow the ash from the Yellowstone eruption West away from Europe! Or some material strong enough to hold tectonic plates in position? Something strong enough to contain the material from a volcano? A system powerful enough to stop a mud or lava? What it is that we need we don't know and may never know. But presently the situation is that there is no solution to natural disasters.
There is no real way to warn about them because there is no earthquake warning system.
Oh, dude, alert can totally be a noun! Like, you know when you're like, "Hey, I need to be on high alert for that killer clown lurking in the bushes"? That's the noun form of alert. So, yeah, alert can totally be a noun, like, no big deal.
There are objects in the ocean which measure how fast and large waves are, I believe satellites also help. The information is then sent to people who do further research and warn the public.
The sense of smell can warn us of danger by detecting potentially harmful substances, such as smoke or gas leaks. Additionally, it can also alert us to spoiled or rotten food that could make us sick if consumed. This early warning system helps to keep us safe and avoid potentially dangerous situations.
drown you but no worries a siren is a mermaid and mermaids are myths and myhts are not real.
Alert
"To warn" works. "To alert", "To apprise", "To caution" all work too.

They interrupt all television and radio entertainment systems to warn the people.
Disaster warning - be alert; warn all personnel; take cover, evacuate to a safe location, or shelter in-place Attack warning - be alert; warn all personnel; implement security measures; take cover, evacuate to a safe location, or shelter in-place All clear - remain alert for secondary hazards; account for all personnel; report fires, injuries, and hazards
According to the bible the world will not end with a storm. When Jesus returns He will destroy the earth with fire. But the bible tells us that there will be signs that will preceed His return. Natural disasters such as hurricans, earthquakes, valcanos, ect. will be increased in frequency and magnitute. The past decade has seen a rise in earthquakes by about 500%. Other disasters are similarly on the rise.
