so hair cells divide really fast too. That's why when treating cancer (rapidly dividing cells) you may lose your hair. Because the treatment like radiation or chemo kills all rapidly dividing cells

What makes my DNA different from a strawberry?

it makes it different by its blood cells and the blood cells are different then a humans blood cell The DNA governs how the cells reproduce and split into the different organs and parts of the body that distinguish a person from a strawberry.

What type of tissue loses the ability to reproduce prior to birth?

Nervous tissue loses the ability to reproduce prior to birth. During fetal development, all the nerve cells that a person will have for life are formed. After birth, new nerve cells can't be created in most parts of the brain and spinal cord.

Do cancer cells reproduce?

Cancer cells reproduce the same way as normal cells do, by mitosis. What separates cancer cells from normal cells, is that their reproduction is uncontrolled and proceeds when it should not. They therefore constantly go through the cell cycle and reproduce.

What does mitosis allow organisms to do?

Mitosis allows organisms to grow, repair damaged tissues, and reproduce asexually by producing genetically identical daughter cells. It is essential for the maintenance and development of multicellular organisms.

What Abnormal cells growing extremely quickly?

Abnormal cells that grow extremely quickly are often referred to as cancer cells. These cells undergo uncontrolled division, ignoring the normal regulatory mechanisms that govern cell growth and death. This rapid proliferation can lead to the formation of tumors and can invade surrounding tissues, potentially spreading to other parts of the body through the bloodstream or lymphatic system. The aggressive nature of these cells is a hallmark of various types of cancer.

What are some parts of your body that reproduce frequently?

The only things that actually 'reproduce' in the body are cells. Some cells split apart creating new cells every few days, and some cells can live a lot longer.

Is the rabbit in danger of extinction?

No they are not. There are many species spread over several parts of the globe, they reproduce quickly, and are numerous.

Do plants reproduce sexually or asexully?

well there are the male cells of the plant and female parts. bees transfer......

What happens when the cells reproduce out of control?

When cells reproduce out of control, it can lead to the formation of a mass of cells called a tumor. If the tumor is benign, it is not cancerous and typically does not spread to other parts of the body. However, if the tumor is malignant, it is cancerous and can invade nearby tissues or spread to other parts of the body, a process known as metastasis.

Do plant cells reproduce faster than animal cells?

Not necessarily. Cells in different parts of plants and animals reproduce (divide) at different rates. It would depend on what parts of the organisms you are comparing. For example: the ends of plant roots grow a lot faster than the other parts, and hair cells in animals grow faster than cells in other parts of the body.

Why are blood cells so small?

So that they can flow to different parts of your body quickly

What two things all cells have?

Cells must have two things: DNA and ribosomes. Without DNA, the cells cannot reproduce. Without ribosomes, proteins cannot be made or sent to other parts of the cell.

What fees can I expect to pay besides labor for appliance repair?

Parts can be expensive, as can shipping heavy or delicate ones from long distances quickly. Disposal fees for old parts can be expensive too.

Which microbes have to be in cells to reproduce?

Viruses must be inside cells in order to replicate. They don't really reproduce in the biological sense. Their DNA or RNA takes over a living cell and causes it to make and assemble virus parts. Eventually the cell will burst, releasing the newly replicated viruses.

Is binary fission a bacteria?

In biology, fission is the subdivision of a cell (or body, population, or species) into two or more parts and the regeneration of those parts into separate cells (bodies, populations, or species).Binary fission produces two separate cells, populations, species, etc.Bacteria is a prokaryote. Prokaryotes do reproduce asexually through binary fission. So binary fission is the means by which bacteria reproduce.
