Venus is the only planet in the solar system that has a retrograde rotation.
Venus
From East to West, it is the only planet in our solar system to do so. All the others rotate West to East. Comments: That's not quite true. Uranus is another one. Here's a bit of pedantry: It depends how you define the North pole of a planet. There are two ways to do that, unfortunately. On one definition, Venus actually rotates from West to East. However, nearly everyone ignores that and says Venus rotates from East to West.
It depends on the longitude and it is not a solid planet [its made of gas] so the clouds pretty much control the rotation
from west to eats
There really isn't one. But, Uranus rotates on its side. It still rotates in the same direction, just on its side.
west to east
Venus & Uranus rotate in what is called retrograde motion. Retrograde motion is from east to west. All of the other planets including earth rotate from west to east.
Venus
The spinning rotation of a planet from east to west is called retrograde rotation. This is the opposite direction to the majority of planets in our solar system, which rotate from west to east in a prograde rotation.
Venus and Uranus are the two planets in our solar system that rotate from east to west, which is known as retrograde rotation. Most planets, including Earth, rotate from west to east.
Actually, 3 planets rotate in a retrograde motion, which, by the way, means that they rotate East to West, or in a counterclockwise motion. Most planets rotate in a clockwise direction, or West to East. The three planets that rotate in a retrograde motion are Venus, Uranus and Pluto.venus

Well, if you think about it, one is a consequence of the other. If you lie down on the ground and rotate (roll) west to east, everything around you that isn't moving will appear to you to rotate east to west (left to right if your head is pointing north).
Venus rotates east to west, which is known as retrograde rotation. This means that it rotates in the opposite direction to most other planets in our solar system.
Venus is the planet that does not rotate on a top to bottom axis like the other planets in our solar system. It rotates in the opposite direction, from east to west, which is known as retrograde rotation.
Venus rotates from East to West, the opposite of the Earth. It is thought though that it's North pole is actually at the opposite end to ours, meaning that it is rotating West to East, but doing it upside down.
they rotate from west to east
