Well, i would recommend that one tries to get a grade above C grade. In the college that i am currently going to, we were required to at least get a B grade at GCSE - either in additional science or seperate. Also, your maths grade is important, i would recommend at least a B grade in maths because A level Biology and Chemistry is quite challenging.
However, i do hope that you don't get put off doing such subjects! Just keep trying and i am sure you will do just fine:)

In the Uk, You will need to get good grades in your GCSE chemistry and You will need an A in your A level Chemistry. Both of these will help you get into dental school Good luck Also check out Dr alka's how to become a dentist course
If by RS you mean Religious Studies, it completely depends on what career you want to pursue. For example, if you wanted to do something in medicine you would need chemistry more or if you wanted to become a sociologist (someone who studies society to predict the future of society) then you would need religious studies. However, as it is only a GCSE and not an A level then i would say Chemistry is better, as it allows you more of a choice of what career you could go into. Hoped this helped :) Jake Doran.
lot and lots of gcses and to be brainy and work really hard (this answer is bad and useless) Actually, you need a lot of things, according to the University of Hawaii. 1 year College physics in labs (calculas/non-calculas) More knowledge on Chemistry would raise your chances of being accepted. Major in Biology Good grades in math(maths) good grades in English Would help to learn Scuba Diving, driving small boats, care for aquatic animals volunteer time in aquariums are a big advantage
