Some raw materials for photsynthesis can be collected from their respective enviorments. The basic materials are water(H2O) and carbon dioxide (CO2). the products that the plants realse are oxygen(o2) glucose (C6H12O6) and water(H20). However, the same materials in are not ressacarily the same matierals out. The water that is brought into the system in the beginning breaks down into oxygen. Also, only some products are actually released in to the enviorment. The oxygen is one of them, plants take in carbon dioxide, what we breathe out and give us oxygen, what we run on. The Glucose is changed further down the road in to necasary materials for the plant to run on. As for the water, some water stays while others are used again. this is why the water is able to be found in many cacti

Can photosynthesis turn plants green?

No, photosynthesis does not turn plants green. Photosynthesis uses light to create glucose and oxygen with carbon dioxide and water. Plants are green due to the chlorophyll found inside them. It is the chlorophyll that makes photosynthesis possible.

What atmospheric gas that enables green plants to carrey on the process of photosynthesis?

Carbon dioxide (CO2) is the atmospheric gas that enables green plants to carry on the process of photosynthesis. Plants absorb carbon dioxide from the air and convert it into sugars and oxygen through the process of photosynthesis.

What is the name for the process by which plants make their own food?

The process by which plants make their own food is called photosynthesis. During photosynthesis, plants use sunlight to convert water and carbon dioxide into oxygen and glucose, which serves as their source of energy.
