9 out of 10 times the best quality comes from the brand, and the better the brand the more expensive the product is. So usually if it is more expensive than the others (i.e John Freida Collection) it is better for your hair. But shampoo and conditioner are different for eveyone, what works on one person might not work as well on another person, so it all depends on the person, I suggest trying different types of shampoo and conditioner until you find one that you like, or go see your hair dresser to see what type is best for you. And if you don't have time for either of these things, The John Frieda Collection is very good, just choose the shampoo and conditioner that match your hair colour to enhance the colour and shine.

For me, it has to be L'oreal Kidz. I know its supposedly for children however it runs through your hair so well, has a fruity/exotic flavoured smell to it which I find lasts for about 2 days (my favourite is the 'Cherry Almond'). It gives your hair such a shine and it doesn't seem to make my hair greasy and doesn't dry my hair out. Oh it also comes in conditioner.
