ok first: cellular respiration is when MITOCHONDRIA (((PLANT OR ANIMAL CELL ORGANISM))) gets from us carbon dioxide and turn it to oxygen so we can inhale it. second : mitochondria only works on daylight it uses SUNLIGHT to do this photosynthesis or as some say carbon dioxide filtering. NOTE:MITOCHONDRIA ON PLANTS DOES MORE THAN 1 THING IT ALSO USES SUNLIGHT TO MAKE SUGAR FOR FOOD
The carbon-oxygen cycle, also known as the biological carbon cycle, involves the exchange of carbon and oxygen between living organisms and the atmosphere through processes like photosynthesis and respiration. This cycle is essential for maintaining the balance of carbon dioxide and oxygen levels in the atmosphere, which is crucial for life on Earth. Plants take in carbon dioxide during photosynthesis and release oxygen, while animals and other organisms release carbon dioxide during respiration.
Yes, and it does all the time, but some other energy source is required. For one thing, all animal cells undergo cellular respiration without photosynthesis, as do all anaerobic bacteria (yeasts, etc.), and many plants and animals that grow on thermal vents on the bottom of the ocean. Instead of getting energy from light, they use chemical energy (animals and yeasts) or geothermal (heat) energy, such as in the case of aquatic organisms on heat vents.
Yes, cell respiration can still occur when you are fasting. During fasting, the body primarily relies on stored energy sources like glycogen and fatty acids to produce ATP through cellular respiration. This process helps the body maintain essential functions even when food intake is restricted.
To tell you the truth they are not similar at all. They have nothing to do with each other. I guess the way they work secrete or take in can be compared but they are different processes. Cellular respiration is when we humans take in oxygen and glucose(food). We use the glucose to carry out many of cell activities which is transferred through our blood and dilivered to our cells. Glucose is then converted to ATP energy by the mitochondria(mitochondria plural). ATP is the cells source of energy. The role that oxygen plays is the combination of oxygen(o2) and glucose which makes water(h2o) which is also used by our cells. A waste would be the carbon dioxide made which is excreted and used by plants for photosynthesis. I guess the thing that might relate would be that to get the oxygen, you need your resperatory system.
The equation for photosynthesis and respiration are similar but in opposite direction in the sense that what is used in respiration is produced during photosynthesis and what is produced during respiration is again used in photosynthesis. It can be explained by the following equation:- 6CO2 + 6H2O = C6H12O6 + 6O2 (photosynthesis) C6H12O6 + 6O2 = 6CO2 + 6H2O (Respiration)
Light is absorbed during photosynthesis. (That's the meaning of photo!)
more sun, soil and water. Stop pollution.

Plants go through cellular respiration to generate energy for their metabolic processes. During photosynthesis, plants take in carbon dioxide and release oxygen, while during respiration, they take in oxygen and release carbon dioxide. The balance between photosynthesis and respiration helps regulate the levels of oxygen and carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, maintaining a stable environment for all living organisms.
The atmosphere interacts with the biosphere through processes such as photosynthesis, respiration, and the carbon cycle. Plants use carbon dioxide from the atmosphere to produce oxygen and organic matter during photosynthesis, while animals breathe in oxygen and release carbon dioxide during respiration. These interconnected processes play a crucial role in regulating the composition of gases in the atmosphere and sustaining life on Earth.
light, nutrients, water, space, warmth, time to grow, air (carbon dioxide for photosynthesis and oxygen for cellular respiration)
They produce glucose which is then used for cellular respiration. (Glucose is chemical energy, it has high energy bonds, which when broken in cellular respiration produce a net of 38 ATP (adenosine triphophate))
