1. Determine if you are within the immediate blast radius (usually within 1000km).
2. If so, get in a car and drive as fast as possible away from the caldera (central point of the supervolcano). Preferably south.
*Note that volcano ash will cause vehicles to stop functioning after a time. Make sure to use the vehicle to get where you need to go as quickly as possible. Time is of the essence.
3. When you are at least 1000km away from the center of the supervolcano, Immediately:
-Locate a pair of goggles. Swimming goggles work, desert goggles are better. Anything that insulates your eyes from the ash
-Locate as many pairs of dust masks as you can find.
- Wear said equipment. This will protect you against the negative health effects of volcano ash (blindness and suffocation).
4. Wherever you happen to be, the economy will no longer function for a long period of time, as this is an extinction level event. Therefore, loot supplies as needed, including: MANY Bottles of Fresh Water,MANY Packages of non perishable food, Weapons, Clothing for a winter climate, Winter sleeping bags, Caulking sealant and other assorted survival goods.
5. Try to find a large sheet of clear, durable plastic, and as many vegetable and grass seeds as you can find. Visit a pet store and steal some male and female (unfixed) rabbits. With these you will later attempt to build a greenhouse and a small rabbit farm.
6. When you have your supplies, find shelter. Do not shelter in a big building, as the roof will collapse due to the weight of volcano ash. Try to find a small building with a sloped, slippery roof. Preferably metal. Make sure it has a clean, covered well that you can draw water from post-ashfall.
7. Once you locate a shelter, seal all the windows and other air vents with caulking. You will need fresh air eventually, but protecting the quality of the air in your shelter is of utmost importance.
8. Wait out the ashfall, periodically climbing onto the roof to clear away ash (or the shelter may collapse under the weight).
9. When ashfall has ceased, attempt to build your greenhouse out of found materials, and the clear plastic. Gather as much grass as you can from beneath the ash, to feed the breeder rabbits. Eventually you will have to grow grass in the greenhouse. This will take a long time, so gather plenty of green stuff or grains.
10. Avoid being outside when it rains. The rain will be highly acidic.
11. From now on, you are on your own. Attempt to survive by any means necessary. The climate will grow very cold as the light of the sun is diminished due to ash in the atmosphere, so in time you may have to migrate as far south as possible.
deader than a door nail!!! It's dormant or inactive.
I am fairly certain that when a volcano no longer erupts, it is now called a dormant volcano. I think that is all that it is called
Distinct
Mount Baker is the volcano that erupts at the beginning of the movie Dante's Peak.
The material that erupts from a volcano is called lava. It consists of molten rock that flows out during an eruption.
Type your answer here... were do you go when a volcano erupts
Lava, in the form of molten rock, and super hot gases.
An Active Volcano.

If you mean 'how does lava release itself from the volcano', it erupts through the volcano's crater. But if you mean 'how does lava erupt from the volcano', then sorry, I have no answers to that.
Dormant.
