cyclone yasi travled about 500m a hour to start of with but then it got slower, the cyclone was sopost to hit at 9pm but it slowed down so it hit at about mid night

Despite Cairns residents jumping on the bandwagon - Cyclone Yasi made landfall at Mission Beach 150k south of Cairns .. see damage in that region - so Yes Cyclone Yasi - is not the correct answer - it is totally incorrect
