Well it depends where to fire is situated, how big the fire is, at what pace is it burning whatever is on fire, and how long you can manage to keep it going. But technically it can keep going forever. The chances of that happening are extreamly slim ,and i doubt can really be done.

When a candle burns what is the most prevalent products are what?

When a candle burns, the most prevalent products are water vapor, carbon dioxide, and heat. Additionally, depending on the type of wax used in the candle, there may also be trace amounts of soot and other byproducts.

Which color candle burns the slowest?

The rate at which a candle burns is dependent on the size and composition of the wick, and the thickness, composition, and melting / vaporization rate of the candle wax. Color is not the dominant factor in candle burning rates.

What candle burns out first an oil candle or a wax candle?

Generally more energy is in a solid versus a liquid, so a wax candle will have more energy than an oil based candle which means the solid wax candle will burn out last over the oil one. Actually, I can't think of a case where the reverse is true. And btw, wax candle has around 42 kJ/g with oil candle being around ~30 kJ/g (type of oil will make a difference here). tho' i agree with most of the above, the most important part of any candle is the oil/oil byproduct/animal fat or beeswax that it is made from! a wax candle will NOT burn until it heats up enough to dissolve into an oil - which occurs between 140-160 degrees! therefore, an oil candle and a wax candle burn out at the same time!

What color candles burn faster?

It always depends on the size and shape of the candle. The rate at which a candle burns is dependent on the size and composition of the wick, and the thickness, composition, and melting / vaporization rate of the candle wax. Color is not the predominant factor.Other observations* It's not the color of the candle, but the wick. If the wick is cheap the candle won't burn correctly or will burn out shortly after you light it. If the wick is of good quality, it will burn down the center of the candle without once going out.* Candles that are plain (white) may burn faster because they don't contain as many chemicals in the wax.* There is a good reason why one candle burns faster than another... because it takes less time to vaporize the wax.* The color would only make a difference in that respect if a significant amount of the heat (imparted on the wax) came from the flame's infrared radiation. Because the wax is used up by being heated by the flame (and eventually being melted, vaporized, and then combusted), the composition of the wax and wick will have more consequence than how much light energy the wax absorbs or reflects.

Which burns longer red candle or white candle?

it depends on lenght height width and the thickness and wick put into the candel sometimes their is more chemicals in a white candel than their are a colored candel depending on the brand

What Burns longer a white candle or black candle?

The color of a candle does not affect its burn time. The burn time of a candle is determined by its size, wax type, and wick quality.

Do white candles burn out at a different time than colored candles?

In general, the color of a candle does not affect how long it burns. The burning time of a candle is primarily determined by its size, type of wax, and wick. However, specific additives in colored candles might slightly impact their burning time compared to white candles.

What kind of candle burns longer a red candle or green candle?

The burn time of a candle typically depends on its size, wick thickness, and wax type rather than its color. Both red and green candles of the same specifications should burn for a similar duration.

Which color of candle burn faster in candle race that is theory?

In a candle race, the color of the candle does not affect how fast it burns. The rate at which a candle burns is primarily influenced by factors such as the size of the wick, the type of wax, and the presence of any additives or fragrances. The color is purely cosmetic and does not impact the burning speed.

Does the color of a candle affect how long it burns?

No it all depends on the type of waxand how long the wick is.

How much heat does a candle give off when it burns?

When a candle burns, it gives off heat energy in the form of light and heat. The amount of heat produced by a candle can vary depending on factors such as the size of the candle and the type of wax used. Generally, a candle can produce around 80-100 watts of heat energy while burning.

What does the wax of a candle do?

The wax of a candle provides fuel for the flame to burn by melting and vaporizing. It also helps the wick maintain its shape and position while the candle burns. Additionally, the type of wax used can influence factors such as burn time, scent release, and soot production.

When a candle burns, the most prevalent products are water vapor, carbon dioxide, and heat. Additionally, depending on the type of wax used in the candle, there may also be trace amounts of soot and other byproducts.

What are time candles?

A time candle is a candle that burns at rate that when it burns past a certain mark the people that are using it know how long it takes for the candle to reach that mark. So a twenty second time candle will only burn for twenty seconds. Hunch1000

Does the size of a candle affect how fast it will burn?

Yes, the size of a candle can affect how fast it burns. A larger candle typically has more wax, so it may burn for a longer period of time than a smaller candle. However, other factors such as the type of wax, wick size, and environmental conditions can also influence the burning rate of a candle.

What type of energy is in a lit candle?

Chemical energy is converted to light and thermal energy.

What type of glass makes candles burn more slowly?

It isn't the glass, but what the candle is made from that determines how long it burns.
