What will happen if glaciers melt?

There will be no more ice. Therefore everybody's drinks will have to stay warm. There is no way of getting a chilled beverage for yourself as there is no ice to put in it.

From this development therefore there cannot be any ability to produce ice-cream, so you will have to live with out that.

Among other things, it would raise the sea level slightly (it's sea-ice, and floating already) and cause further warming of the atmosphere. The further warming is due to the ice-albedo feedback, whereupon removing a highly reflective surface such as ice would replace it with a surface that would be much more likely to absorb radiation, thereby warming the earth further.
