Basically Glucose is made by Photosynthesis so without Glucose the plant would die because Glucose is like ATP for the plant and without that ATP it cannot do it's daily functions like create its own food and the plant would die and then ultimately we would die

What would happen to a plant's ability to produce cellulose if the plant had no water Why?

If a plant has no water, its ability to produce cellulose would be severely compromised. Water is essential for photosynthesis, the process by which plants generate energy and build carbohydrates, including cellulose. Without sufficient water, the plant experiences stress, which can lead to reduced metabolic activity and stunted growth, ultimately hindering cellulose synthesis. In extreme cases, prolonged water deficiency can cause cell death and the plant's inability to maintain its structure.

What would happen to a plants ability to produce cellulose if the plant had no water why?

If a plant had no water, its ability to produce cellulose would be severely impaired. Water is essential for photosynthesis, the process through which plants convert light energy into chemical energy, ultimately leading to the synthesis of cellulose. Without water, the plant would experience stress, leading to reduced growth and possibly death, as it cannot effectively transport nutrients or maintain cellular functions necessary for cellulose production.

What wont happen if flowers are removed from a plant?

If flowers are removed from a plant, the plant may not be able to produce seeds or fruit. This can lead to a disruption in the plant's reproductive cycle and may impact its ability to propagate and reproduce. However, removing flowers will not necessarily harm the overall health of the plant itself.

Is cellulose in plant cells?

Yes, cellulose is present in the cell wall of a plant.

What two things would a plant be unable to do if it could not produce polysaccharide from monosaccharides?

If a plant could not produce polysaccharides from monosaccharides, it would struggle to store energy efficiently, as polysaccharides like starch serve as the main energy reserve. Additionally, it would be unable to form structural components such as cellulose, which provides rigidity and support to plant cell walls, ultimately compromising its overall structure and ability to grow.

What would happen to a plant without cellulose in it's cells?

Without cellulose in its cells, a plant would not have the necessary structural support to maintain its shape and grow upright. Cellulose also helps with water and nutrient transport within the plant. Without cellulose, the plant would likely wilt and eventually collapse.

What will happen if the petal is removed from the plant?

If a petal is removed from a plant, it will not affect the plant's overall health or ability to survive. The plant may continue to bloom and produce more petals, but it may impact its ability to attract pollinators for reproduction. Overall, removing a petal will not harm the plant significantly.

What would happen to a plants ability to produce glucose if the plant did not have water?

Photosynthesis would come to a halt, glucose would no longer be produced.

What organisms produce cellulose?

Plants are the primary organisms that produce cellulose. Specifically, cellulose is made by plant cells, such as those in the stems, leaves, and roots of plants. Additionally, some bacteria and algae also have the ability to produce cellulose.

What happen when you water a plant?

The plant gets nutrient and the ability to grow.

Is cellulase a plant enzyme or an animal enzyme?

Cellulase is mainly produced by microorganisms like fungi and bacteria, not by plants or animals. Although animals, including termites and some ruminants, can host microorganisms that produce cellulase to help them digest cellulose-rich plant material.

Is cellulose in plant cells?

Yes, cellulose is present in the cell wall of a plant.

Is a cellulose seedless?

no, cellulose is not a plant at all

What is the function of the plant cell Golgi apparatus?

They produce lysosomes in cell. Produce cell wall materials exept cellulose. Involve in material transportation mainly.
