It was actually Voyager 2. It did not stop, but just flew past Uranus.
The year was 1986.
voyager 2 and the year was 1981
Voyager 1 and Voyager 2 did not visit the planet Pluto. Voyager 1's trajectory did not take it close to Pluto, and Voyager 2 was redirected after its Uranus encounter to head out of the solar system in a different direction.
Voyager 1 was launched on September 5, 1977 and flew by Jupiter (1979) and Saturn (1980). Voyager 2 was launched on August 20, 1977 and flew by Jupiter (1979), Saturn (1981), Uranus (1986), and Neptune (1898).
Voyager 2 was sent out first to allow it to take full advantage of an unusually convenient alignment of the planets allowing it to visit Uranus and Neptune as wellVoyager 1 was launched after voyager 2, but on a faster trajectory which allowed it to reach Jupiter and Saturn before voyager 2.
As of now, no spacecraft or satellites have been sent to Uranus. However, there have been missions that have conducted flybys of Uranus, such as Voyager 2 which passed by the planet in 1986, providing valuable data and images. There is a proposed mission called Uranus Pathfinder that aims to send a dedicated orbiter to Uranus in the future, but no specific year has been set yet.
