Any answer you get on here is going to be subjective in nature, but for what it's worth, I like the Lowrance format. There are a number of models depending on the size of screen you want, but I should think any dual frequency fish finder with a color chartplotter should satisfy you. The Lowrance uses the Navionics chip for its charts, but I think most charting programs are very similar. What I particularly like about the Lowrance is that it's easy to use and rarely loses a GPS signal. But again, this is just one opinion. Good luck.

Most Puffer Fish are compatible with fish around the same size of the Puffer Fish. If you have a fish a lot bigger, or smaller than the puffer, it has a lower chance of being "nice" to the other fish.
I think that small fish relatively are herbivores and they eat the vegetation off the bottom of the pond, stream, or lake they call home. Unless the small fish is a pirana then they are mainly herbivores. If you have any questions about turtles i have no clue because they have one at this lake near my house and they like have this turtle that bites you if you go in the water. So some advice never go into a pond, lake, or stream unless you know whats in it.
The best way to clean a plastic hose for a fish tank is to use pipe cleaners, depending on the width of the interior tube you may be able to use a rag as a pipe cleaner type tool and just spin the rag through the hose until it is clean.

Fish finders are great tools for fishers. With the help of sound waves the fish finder emits sounds waves that when they hit something go back to the receiver. Based on the time taken by the sound wave the fish finder understands whether there is a fish.
