In the process of photosynthesis, plants make starch and oxygen not carbon dioxide.

After eating plant they create carbon dioxide as waste product when releasing food energy into cellular energy. So they just excrete CO2 the waste product of respiration.

How is cellular respiration used in carbon cycle?

Animals produce carbon dioxide. Animals produce carbon dioxide

What do animals depend on angiosperms for?

Plants provide food and shelter for animals, and as they photosynthesize, regulate the levels of oxygen and carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. As food producers, plants are eaten by herbivores, which in turn become food for the omnivores and carnivores. Plants are also the homes of many animals, small and big. Plants provide shelter from predators and harsh factors of the environment, like the hot sun, cold snow and torrential rain. When plants photosynthesize, they take in carbon dioxide and give out the fresh oxygen that all the animals need for respiration. Plants are crucial for the health of all animals. On the other hand, plants depend on animals for nutrients, pollination and seed dispersal, and as the animals consume plants, they regulate the numbers of different species of plants. While plants provide oxygen for the animals as they photosynthesize, animals respire and give out carbon dioxide for plants to make food with. It is an interdependent relationship here. This is not to say that plants do not respire themselves. They do, it is just that the amount of carbon dioxide they give out is not enough for the plants to make enough food with. As such, plants need animals. Also, when animals die, they decompose and become natural fertilizers for plants. Being pretty much immobile, plants also depend on animals to pollinate them for reproduction. And when the fertilized plants eventually produce seeds encased in fruits, animals eat them or carry them along on their fur, dispersing the seeds far and wide, ensuring the continuity of the plant species.

Does decay release carbon dioxide?

The process of decay releases carbon dioxide into the atmosphere

Do plants need to eat?

yes, nutrients in the soil, sunlight for photosynthesis, and co2

What do plants provide to animals A glucose B glucose and oxygen C carbon dioxide D oxygen E glucose and carbon dioxide?

B glucose (when animals eating the plant) and oxygen (from being near the plants).Plants provide:food from leaves, berries, flowers, stems, roots=> glucose => energyinsects and grubs to eat, if the animals eat insects/grubs => energyoxygen and removes the CO2 the animal breathes outnesting materials for birds and small gameprotection and camouflage

How do animals depend upon plants?

Animals depend upon plants to produce oxygen (photosynthesis), to absorb carbon dioxide (plant respiration), and as a food source. Even animals that eat other animals (carnivores) depend on plants as a food source, as that is likely what their prey eat to survive.

How do animals and plants depend on each other in pond life?

Animals eat the plant and breaths out carbon dioxide which plants need to survive

How can carbon be passed from plants and animals to human beings?

when plants and animals respire, carbon is returned to the air as carbon dioxide, and humans then beathe in the same carbon dioxide that was placed into the air by the decomposed plants and animals.

What happens to the carbon when plants are eaten by animals?

Cows release more carbon dioxide when they burp or release flatulence than a car does for a whole month....or something like that.

How does plants and animals use carbon dioxide and oxygen in different ways?

Plants obtain carbon from the atmosphere by breaking CO2 apart and releasing the oxygen during photosynthesis. Animals eat the plants, excrete an undigested portion of the carbon, and exhale the rest through respiration of the carbon with atmospheric oxygen (or in the case of marine animals--oxygen dissolved in water).

What is sphere interdependency?

Carbon moves from the atmosphere to plants. In the atmosphere, carbon is attached to oxygen in a gas called carbon dioxide (CO2). [ [ With the help of the Sun, through the process of photosynthesis, carbon dioxide is pulled from the air to make plant food from carbon. # Carbon moves from plants to animals. Through food chains, the carbon that is in plants moves to the animals that eat them. Animals that eat other animals get the carbon from their food too. # Carbon moves from plants and animals to the ground. When plants and animals die, their bodies, wood and leaves decay bringing the carbon into the ground. Some becomes buried miles underground and will become fossil fuels in millions and millions of years. # Carbon moves from living things to the atmosphere. Each time you exhale, you are releasing carbon dioxide gas (CO2) into the atmosphere. Animals and plants get rid of carbon dioxide gas through a process called respiration. ] ]

Where do animals and people receive carbon?

Animals and people receive carbon primarily through the food they consume. Plants take in carbon dioxide from the atmosphere during photosynthesis and convert it into carbohydrates, which are then consumed by animals. The carbon is then transferred through the food chain as animals eat plants or other animals.

How do animals obtain carbon to be used in cellular processes?

During photosynthesis, plants use carbon dioxide from the air and get energy from the sunlight to prepare their own food. The carbon is thereafter converted into carbon compounds in the plants. Animals primarily live by consuming plants, or eating other animals, and thereby get the carbonrequired for their life processes.

how carbon transferred from plants to animals?

easy

How do plants help animals?

1. Plants provide shelter for certain animals. 2. Plants produce food for animals to eat and live off of. 3. Plants give off air for both people and animals, and other living things.
