What proccess does a seed start to grow?

When a seed is planted in soil, it absorbs water and swells, triggering the process of germination. The seed then breaks open, allowing the embryo inside to grow roots that anchor the plant into the soil and shoots that grow up towards the light. With the right conditions of water, light, and warmth, the seedling will continue to grow into a mature plant.

What provides for the germination seed?

The germination of a seed is triggered by the right environmental conditions, such as moisture, oxygen, and warmth. Once these conditions are met, the seed will absorb water and begin to sprout. The process of germination allows the seed to grow into a seedling and eventually develop into a plant.

How do you know what kind of plant a seed will grow into?

The kind of plant a seed will grow into is determined by the genetics of the parent plant that produced the seed. Each type of plant has a distinct genetic code that dictates its growth characteristics, including its size, shape, and type of flowers or fruits it will produce. When a seed is planted and given the right conditions (such as water, light, and nutrients), it will germinate and grow into a plant that is genetically identical to its parent.

What 3 conditions are necessary for a seed to grow?

For a seed to grow, three conditions are necessary: water, proper temperature, and air. Water helps to activate enzymes in the seed, while the right temperature provides energy for the growth process. Air is needed for respiration to occur, allowing the seed to absorb nutrients and oxygen for growth.

If you put a seed in your nose will it grow?

No, a seed will not grow in your nose. The conditions inside your nose are not suitable for a seed to germinate and grow into a plant. Additionally, seeds require soil, water, and sunlight to grow which are not present in your nasal cavity.

What is the inactive stage of a seed known as?

The inactive stage of a seed is known as dormancy. During dormancy, the seed is in a state of suspended animation, waiting for the right conditions to germinate and start growing into a plant.
