Ramadan
Ramadan. The five pillars (for Sunni Muslims) include fasting, and Ramadan is the time of fasting. Shia Muslims have fasting as one of their practices rather than a pillar of faith.
Ramadan is a time to detach from worldly pleasures and focus on one's prayers. Many Muslims dress more conservatively during Ramadan and spend more time at the mosque than at any other time of the year.
Muslims can eat before dawn and after sunset during Ramadan, which is a month-long fasting period in the Islamic calendar.
Those, who are legible for fasting during Ramadan, are not allowed to eat, drink, smoke, or perform sex during the fasting period of day time from fajr (before first morning light) until sunset.
Then the fasting is not done! It doesn't count like that! In order to make you're fasting count then you have to start fasting during Fajr time. End at Maghrib time. Few people don't know how to fast!... Happy Ramadan Sep 1 - 30 / 2008
If by "her" you mean your wife or sister or mother or daughter, ...etc then it is allowed to kiss her after breaking fasting (after Magrib). If you mean by "her" a foreigner woman, then you are not allowed to kiss her any time whether after Magrib during Ramadan or any time off Ramadan.
Muslims fast during the month of Ramadan. During this time, they refrain from eating and drinking from sunrise to sunset.
Ramadan doesn't necessarily have to be in the summer, it could be any time of the year. Also, it also depends on your age and when you began fasting. Say if your 75 and you began fasting at the age of 5 and you fasted the full month of Ramadan then you most likely fasted 70 times in your lifetime.
