No, not a 1000 years. What you are referring to is Einsteins theory of relativity which says that as you are traveling faster than people on the earth as you orbit it, time for you slows down a little. Thus when you come back you are actually returning a small faction of a second into the future. The effect is only very small unless you are traveling at near the speed of light.
Astronomers often call this the planet's year. For Earth that's about 365 and 1/4 days.
The star that a planet travels around is called its parent star or host star. The parent star provides the gravitational force that keeps the planet in orbit around it. Similarly, our planet Earth orbits around the star we call the Sun.
No, there are not moons or stars ON planet earth, but there are moons and stars around planet earth. == ==
It takes Jupiter approximately 12 years to orbit the sun.
Mercury. The planet that has the smallest distance to travel around the Sun is the planet that is also the smallest planet. This planet is named like many other planets for a Greek god. It was first discovered many years ago and is only separated from Earth by Venus. It is usually farther away from Earth than the planet Mars which is the fourth planet from the Sun. Earth is third. Venus is second. All four or these planets are composed mainly of solids as opposed to the next four planets (the "gas giants") Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune and Uranus (lol).
There are no planets that travel around the moon. The moon travels around Earth.
That would be Saturn.
Uranus takes 84 earth years to travel around the sun.
Venus because it is closer to the sun than Earth.
Mercury travels around the sun faster than any other planet (88 Earth days) because it is the closest planet to the sun.
about five times less than earth
Saturn

The orbital period of Saturn is 29.43 earth years.
PLANET EARTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!A thousand million billion trillion times, PLANET EARTH!!! :-@
No, actually it takes 365.26 days to orbit around the sun. This is one year.
