In a Harbor Freight inverter, the fuses are typically located on the input side, near the battery connections, or inside the inverter casing. For a model with a 2000 watt capacity, you may find one or more inline fuses or a fuse holder that can be accessed without disassembling the entire unit. Always consult the user manual for specific locations and safety precautions before checking or replacing fuses.
It depends on the power requirements of the sump pump. For a typical residential sump pump, a 2000 watt inverter should be enough. However, it's important to check the power consumption of your specific sump pump to ensure the inverter can handle it.
A 2000 watt continuous power inverter can typically run appliances like laptops, TVs, small kitchen appliances, power tools, and some smaller heating devices. It may also be able to run some larger appliances for short periods, like refrigerators or microwaves, but it's important to check the appliance's power requirements and the inverter's surge capacity.
All I can tell you is it doesn't work on a 2000Watt inverter with a 4000Watt surge. I made a video on how I tried to get it to work. Here is a link. I think you would need one with about a 10,000 watt surge.
Power (P), in Watts, is equal to the Voltage (V), in Volts, multiplied by the Current (I), in Amperes. P=V*I Using Algebra to solve for the Current (Amps) that are required: I=P/V Therefore: 2000 Watts / 12 Volts = ~167 Amps Please note, that this is for a 100% efficient inverter. If the inverter is 90% efficient the actual draw would be: Iideal*(1+(1-(%Efficiency/100)))=Iactual 167 Amps*(1+(1-(90/100)))=Iactual 167 A * (1+(1-0.9))=Iactual 167 A * (1+(0.1))=Iactual 167 A * (1.1)=Iactual 183 A = Iactual The continuous current draw for a 90% efficient power inverter, operating from a 12V DC source, out putting 2000W at 120V AC, is 183 Amps.
To determine the size of the inverter needed to run a 1.5 horsepower motor, we first need to convert horsepower to watts. 1 horsepower is equal to approximately 746 watts, so a 1.5 horsepower motor would require around 1119 watts. However, it's important to consider the starting surge or inrush current of the motor, which can be several times higher than its running wattage. To be safe, you would likely need an inverter with a continuous output rating of at least 1500-2000 watts to reliably power a 1.5 horsepower motor.

Yes there are places where you can buy an inverter generator online. One website is http://www.walmart.com/ip/Honeywell-HW2000i-2000-Watt-Portable-Inverter-Generator/10099160 which will show you where to buy it.
They are fuses, they do what fuses do, protect electrical circuits.
The fuses in a Toyota Corolla 2000 are for various components of the car. For instance, the fuses power the windshield wipers, the radio, the power windows, and the power seats.

There is a power equation that works out for this. However, since I do not think you will power anything larger than a microwave (1000) watts, you will go by the sum of all fuses located on the device (Power inverter). For example: 2 green fuses on device at 40 amps each: 2 x 40 = 80 amp in-line fuse. You can find the larger fuses at audio shops, some cb shops or even a Radio Shack. Please remember to run at least 2 gauge power and ground wires straight to your bank of batteries as a semi cab actually floats - electrically speaking.
