you can get it in a cream or ointment form at the drug store.

Most zinc is recovered from zinc sulphide ore that also contains sulphide of other metals as well as silicon dioxide and perhaps other materials. Physical methods are used first to eliminate some of the undesirable substances then the ZnS is heated to recover the zinc. For more details please see the wikipedia article for zinc.
Zinc is more reactive than Lead nitrate (See Displacement Series). Therefore, Zinc will displace lead in lead nitrate: Zn + Pb(NO3)2 -> Zn(NO3)2 + Pb
The zinc is either contaminated with copper, or the copper is depositing so quickly onto the zinc that it is in a non crystalline structure and therefore appears to be black. Try melting some of the black stuff with a blowtorch and see what happens.
Zinc in Latin is "zincum."
When zinc reacts with hydrochloric acid it produces zinc chloride and hydrogen gas.
Zinc has a melting point of 419.5 °C. Please see the link.
A chemical compound. Please see the link.

Copper rods cannot separate zinc from zinc sulphate because copper is less reactive than zinc, and cannot separate the zinc which is more reactive than copper. If you get copper sulphate and add some zinc to it, you will see solid copper appearing on the bottom of the test tube... The copper cannot push out the zinc from the solution and take its place.

if it is dipped the zinc electrode looses the electron in to the solution as zinc ions and it attains negative charge on th electrode and it absorb the positive ions in the solution.so w can see a bundle of positive ions just around the zinc electrode
Zinc is a metal element and does not have a specific shape, as its structure is determined by how its atoms bond with each other in a crystalline lattice arrangement. In its solid form, zinc typically forms a hexagonal close-packed structure.

Let's see. Zn + 2HCl --> ZnCl2 + H2 The products of this reaction are zinc chloride, a salt, and hydrogen gas.
there would be a single replacement reaction where the copper forms on the top of the zinc and the blue color of the copper sulfate would get lighter and eventually you would end up with zinc sulfate and copper
