SOHO, the Solar and Heliospheric Observatory, did not "go" anywhere; it is still operational and continues to observe the Sun. Launched in 1995, it provides valuable data about solar activity and its effects on space weather. SOHO’s location is a stable point in space known as the L1 Lagrange point, about 1.5 million kilometers from Earth, where it continuously monitors the Sun.

The Solar and Heliospheric Observatory (SOHO) was launched on December 2, 1995.
SOHO (Solar and Heliospheric Observatory) was launched into the Earth/Sun L1 Lagrangian point in 1995. This point balances the gravity from the Sun and Earth and allows for very little energy to remain in a stable orbit. There are 5 Lagrangian points for SOHO but L1 is the best positioned for Earth communications.
The SOHO space telescope is primarily targeted towards studying the sun. It observes the sun's interior, atmosphere, and solar wind, and helps scientists understand various phenomena such as solar flares, sunspots, and coronal mass ejections. Additionally, SOHO also observes comets, asteroids, and other celestial objects in its field of view.
The Solar and Heliospheric Observatory (SOHO) detects various forms of electromagnetic radiation, including visible light, ultraviolet light, and X-rays. These different types of radiation provide valuable information about the Sun's activity and the solar wind.

SoHo/Soho. In New York City, the name SoHo is short for "South of Houston Street." According to Wikipedia, the London neighborhood of Soho is believed to have gotten its name from "a former hunting cry. The Duke of Monmouth used 'soho' as a rallying call for his men at the Battle of Sedgemoor."
