At the anterior end of the brain, the lobes primarily consist of the frontal lobes, which are located at the front of the cerebral hemispheres. These lobes are responsible for various functions, including decision-making, problem-solving, and motor function. Additionally, the anterior portion of the brain also includes parts of the parietal lobes, which are situated just behind the frontal lobes and are involved in sensory processing.

The venous sinus o fthe scalp are those of the superior sagittal sinus. TO read more about it check the meninges. The dural venous sinus is below the cranium, fibrous and serous dura and the endothelium

The areas within the cerebrum named for the bones that lie beneath are the frontal, parietal, temporal, and occipital lobes. These lobes are named based on the skull bones that they are situated above.

Brain fissures are convolutions in the structure of the brain that form valleys between folds. The valleys are called fissures or sulci (plural of sulcus), and lie between the raised folds called gyri (singular gyrus). Many brain features are identified with fissures, including Broca's fissure, the Fissure of Sylvius, the central (Rolando's) fissure, and the hippocampal fissure.
