The National Weather Service has offices around the country mostly at airports that gather information such as temperature, humidity etc all funded through your tax dollars. Radar and satellite are also provided by the NWS. Weather information is gathered by the NWS and made public. Even the weather channel, accuweather and all of the other companies that provide weather information get their weather data from the National Weather Service. These other companies tweak that info and may even charge you for it if you sign up with their services.

In any event. It all is gathered by the National Weather Service.
