well i learned that Florida was underwater, and if you wanna know how it became above water is that in that water lived these tiny creatures and when they started dying, their shells when to sea floor and over the years the got stuck together making this rock called limestone and it got SO thick that with the Earth changing, the water lifted that rock up ABOVE water. pretty cool huh??
