Most likely in a cave in the grasslands on the side of one of the hills.
Watch out for it's breath though, a +3 Anti-Dragon Breath shield might be needed.
I believe that the grassland type in Canada would be prairies. Steppes are more commonly found in Ukraine, Russia and Asia. The grassland found in Canada are the prairies. Found in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
Is this a serious question? "Are there a lot of hills" compared to what? What do you consider a hill? Does an ant hill count? It's totally relative. Using common sense I would say that, yes, there are a lot of hills, just because there are more in the world than I would care to count...
Grassland ecosystems can be found on every continent except Antarctica. They are characterized by grasses as the dominant plant species, with varying amounts of trees and shrubs present. Examples of grasslands include the prairies of North America, the pampas of South America, the savannas of Africa, and the steppes of Eurasia.

Grasslands generally receive about twice the amount of rainfall per year as a desert. Therefore, one would see much more plant life in a grassland.
Cows can be found in the Grassland, Forest, and Sub-Desert biomes.
Dungeons and Dragons is a creativity game, so if you are designing an area in your world with warm hills you can have any species of dragon you want there including making up a new species. I would recommend that it not be an ice dragon, however

It depends on what kind of dragon it is. They can range from 10 inches to up to 100 ft long. If you watch "How to Train a Dragon", then the smallest dragon is around 5-10 inches. However, if you read "Eragon", then the dragons were so big that they can be taken as hills. So, it depends. But, I would say around 10-30 feet. Hope this helps.
The grassland (savannah) biome has grazing animals. This often results in overgrazing, which can lead to the damage and/or destruction of grasslands.
It would be brown and arid.
