Mauna Loa is considered to be an active volcano.
I am sorry if this is not the right answer No Krakatoa has not erupted in the past 100 years if and when it does erupt the it will be a very big erution or a small one or it has fallen dormit forever or will fall dormit. hope this helps
Arenal Volcano, Costa Rica Masaya Volcano, Nicaragua Mont Pele on Martinique which erupted in 1902 Novarupta, Alaska which erupted in 1912 with the largest explosion of the century Lassen Peak, California which erupted from 1914-1917 Mt St. Helens in Washington State which erupted from 1980-86 and again in 2004. Kilauea, Hawaii in 1983 Mauna Loa, Hawaii in 1984 Nevado del Ruiz, Colombia in 1984 Augustine Volcano, Alaska in 1986 Pinatubo Volcano, Philippines in 1991 Soufriere Hills Volcano, Monserrat in 1995 Krakatau in Indonesia which erupted in 1883 is currently showing signs of eruption. Those are a few. They are the ones who have most recently erupted but there are many more. The Western United States contains at least 73 active volcanoes. There are many others throughout the world.
It would be a catastraphy if Mauna Loa were to eruppt again, Mauna Loa is a Hawaiian volcano that is the biggest active volcano in the world, it basicly destroyed everything last time it erupted in 1984 (I think it was at least... in 1984) and when it did everything on the main hawaiian island (which is the one that Mauna Loa is on) was basicly destroyed. Mount St. Helens (May 18, 1980) in southwest Washington state is the most recent volcanic eruption in the continental US. In Hawaii, Mauna Loa has erupted more recently (1984) and Mount Kilauea has continued to erupt since 1993.
Guatemala City Guatemala Temple was created in 1984.

Mt. Whitney has never erupted. It is not a volcano.
11 times there have been big eruptions
Mauna Loa erupted in 1984 due to the buildup of pressure from magma within the volcano's chamber. This pressure caused the magma to rise to the surface and erupt, releasing lava and gases. The eruption started in March and lasted for 22 days.
Kilauea volcano is currently more active than Mauna Loa volcano. Kilauea has been erupting continuously since 1983, with frequent lava flows and explosive events. Mauna Loa, on the other hand, last erupted in 1984 and is currently considered dormant, although it is capable of erupting again in the future.
Mauna Loa in Hawaii is the largest active volcano on Earth. Its summit reaches an elevation of over 13,000 feet above sea level and it covers half of the Big Island of Hawaii. Mauna Loa last erupted in 1984.
