It's not likely that there are any (solar) planets waiting to be discovered out there, though it can't be definitely ruled out. With dwarf planets it gets a little more complicated. Currently Eris is the furthest known dwarf planet, and in fact one of the most distant known objects in the solar system. However, Sedna is probably a dwarf planet (the question is whether it's in hydrostatic equilibrium or not), and gets considerably further away from the sun than Eris ever does (right now Sedna is nearly as close to the sun as it ever gets, while Eris is nearly as far away from the sun as it ever gets, so at the moment ... and for the next hundred years or so ... Eris is a bit more distant). Sedna has a semimajor axis of around 500 AU (Eris: 70 AU) and an aphelion of nearly 1000 AU (Eris: 100 AU), so on average it's quite a bit further out.

Eris is a dwarf planet. It is not yet certain if it is larger than Pluto or not. It has surface methane. It is denser than Pluto so scientists feel it has more rocky particulates.
