But seriously, gender is 'perceived' role and 'sex' is a biological role. The reproductive 'sex' drive is linked more to Biology than to mental preferences.

Males are more driven to sex. The sex drive is closely associated with the hormone Testosterone, present in both sexes, but at much higher levels in males.

Alcohol consumption does cause a sharp rise in the Testosterone levels in females, as well as disinhibiting them, so they exhibit stronger sex drive after drinking significant amounts of alcohol. We have all known this from the time we started going to High School dances.
