The SI unit of force named after the scientist who described the relationship between motion and force is the newton, symbolized as "N." It is named after Sir Isaac Newton, who formulated the three laws of motion.

isaac newton was never a grumpy man if he was he wouldn`t discover deep into force and friction and even mention his theory.
No he didn't although he did discover a lot of things about forces and is widely thought of as one of the most influential physiscists of all time. It is for this reason that the SI unit for force was named the Newton in his honour.
Newton discovered how the world was held together when the memorable event of the apple falling on his head helped him discover the force of gravity. He then concluded that gravity pulls together all the particles of Earth, therefore holding it together.
Newton discovered many of the laws and theories that not only furthered our understanding of the universe, but also gave future scientists the tools to discover how to enter space. He discovered gravitational force and established the three Universal Laws of Motion.
