Cobalt, gold, copper, silver, there are a lot of them that are the same colour as their name. If you can really consider the colours above as true colours.
The switch to the appliance is down stream from where the power comes in from the plug. Even though the appliance is turned off at the switch the appliance has electricity up to the switch. As you stated there will be voltage potential right up until the pins of the appliance become disengaged from the receptacle If you have ever noticed a three blade plug, the ground pin is longer that the hot and neutral blades. What this accomplishes is that when plugging in a device the ground is made first and when un-plugging the ground is the last to be disconnected. By holding the appliance you were at the same ground potential as the appliance. By touching the "hot" side of the plug when pulling it out you became the return path for the electricity to flow. If you had touched the neutral side of the plug when pulling it out you would have felt nothing. Be careful when removing plugs from receptacles. Always pull on the plug body and never on the appliance's cord
No, unplugging an appliance completely cuts off its power supply and will not consume any electricity. Turning off the breaker only stops electricity flow to the appliance but there may still be some minimal energy loss due to standby power or other factors. Unplugging is more effective in reducing electricity consumption.
It is not recommended to share the same vent for a bathroom fan and a gas dryer. This can pose a safety risk, as there may be issues with backdrafting of combustion gases from the gas dryer. It is best to have separate dedicated vents for each appliance.
The maximum distance from an appliance to the receptacle that serves it generally depends on the type of appliance and local electrical codes. For most fixed appliances, the National Electrical Code (NEC) in the U.S. requires that the receptacle be within a specific distance, typically within 6 feet for cord-and-plug connected appliances. Always consult local regulations and codes for the most accurate requirements.

To replace a screw in a household appliance, first identify the type and size of the screw needed. Use the appropriate screwdriver to remove the old screw by turning it counterclockwise. Insert the new screw into the same hole and turn it clockwise to secure it in place. Make sure the screw is tightened securely but not over-tightened to avoid damaging the appliance.
A 3-way outlet switch in a household electrical system allows you to control a single light or appliance from two different locations. This is achieved by using two separate switches that are connected to the same light or appliance. When one switch is turned on, the circuit is completed and the light or appliance turns on. When the other switch is turned on, the circuit is completed in a different way, turning the light or appliance off.
no. an air conditioner is a household appliance the same as a washer or dryer. however there are service contracts available to cover all these major appliances which is really insurance. prices vary by appliance and age

The herbst appliance is used to move your bottom jaw forward and your top jaw back. I just got mine a few days ago and it HURTS! Like its the most painful thing and you can have a herbst appliance on while having braces on too! I got braces on and my herbst on at about the same time. With a herbst, you have these like two pieces of metal that go around the tops of your teeth and they stick into your gums and hurt. They hurt because the dentist has to stick the metal part into your gum and cement the metal onto your teeth. Then you have a metal bar that goes across your cheek and connects to the lower part of your teeth with the metal part around it. And that is pretty much what the herbst appliance is and what it does to your mouth. Hope this helps! :)
Yes it is possible. IRS considers a household not to be limited to residents in a structures ("by that logic there would only be one head of household for an apartment complex 'if it were one address'"), instead they choose to understand that more than one household can reside in the same building with the same address at the same time. Beware there are rules for establishing more than one household at the same address.
Actually it is! Same with straightener and blow dryer!
Household yes but same xbox 360 no
This means to take a crap. There is also an appliance campnay with the same name, sad for them. For more slang words see www.kasilami.co.za
