If the outlet is subjected to repeated moisture it will cause a corosion issue which may result in a terminal that will not make a solid connection and will result in overheating and yes may cause a fire....
Not if the outlet is wired properly. The spliced wires within the box should be tight and proper wire connectors used. The terminal connection to the receptacle should use the screw terminals and not the quick wire push in connectors. Under heavy loads the quick wire system will have a tendency to get warm to hot under certain conditions.
too many electrical cords plugged into one outlet
No reason not to as long as the wall outlet is the correct voltage. most are designed to be plugged into a 110v outlet.
Yes you can and you can return it as well. No time limit as long as you have the receipt.
Yes. If you hook up your phone charger, it is using a little bit over 50% power without a phone attached. No. The voltage potential of 120 volts is at the receptacle outlet slots but to make the current flow, a resistive load is needed. In the case above the phone charger is the load. Un-plug the load and no current flow.
The short answer, no. The long answer - A 15a 110v current tap can supply approximately 1650 watts. A 30a 110v load would assume a demand of 3300 watts. Splicing multiple cables together to supply this load would be an unsafe practice, as it would be possible for one or the other cables, or receptacles to become overloaded, creating a possible fire hazard. Assuming the generator is rated above that load demand, it would be much safer to add a correctly rated outlet to the generator, and utilize a properly rated cord for connection.
Yes, a space heater can be plugged into any outlet. Depending on what else is drawing current on the circuit will govern whether the circuit will trip or not. If the heater is plugged in and the circuit does not trip it can be left plugged as long as it is needed. If the heater trips after a few seconds, then try another outlet.
An extension cord is a long power cord that plugs into an outlet and receives with an outlet. A computer cord just uses one long cable to transfer power to the computer from the outlet.
because you suck

The magnet holds the door open so long as power is present. Power is automatically interrupted with a fire alarm or if power is lost. Then fire door is closed to contain any fire.
Yes, If you been to a long drive & park it near the long dried grass. Also you can have an electrical problem and start on fire.
about 30/40 min
You can charge the Nintendo 3DS anywhere, as long as there is a power supply such as a wall outlet or batter pack.
In book 5, Long Shadows
Yes, as long as there is enough typical/backup/standby power for both.
