The Chocolate Hills in the Philippines were primarily formed through a combination of geological processes, including erosion and the dissolution of limestone. Over time, the region's limestone terrain underwent erosion by rainwater and other natural elements, leading to the creation of the distinctive conical hills. While tectonic activity contributed to the formation of the limestone itself, the current shape of the Chocolate Hills is mainly a result of erosional processes.
