Who discovered time zones?

It never really began. Time is really just a belief created by humans for their own purposes. Does time matter before your alive and after? Does it stop at those times?

I'd say no. A thing that does not exist can not be stopped. The time on your clock may say 12:00 or any such time, but it really is ''now'' and always will be.

The ancient Chinese invented the clock, but the concept of "time" is human construct. Centuries ago time consisted of the sun rise/sunset, the seasons, and the times when crops were planted/reaped. There was no need to measure time like we do today. Today seconds count, but a thousand years ago if something took months or years to make that is what it took. People didn't know when they were born and only had a few special hoildays to mark time and these usually were centered around the seasons/crops. It was the ancient Romans who invented the 365 day calendar that is still pretty much still in use. As people change so does the concept of time and how we see it, use it, and create it.
