Halley's comet was predicted by Edmund Halley he took the comets of 1531-1607-1682,
and using Newton law of gravitation (who was Halley good friend) and predicted when that comet would return in 1758 and sure enough on Christmas Eve of 1758 it returned.
oh and by the way he did not live to see it and also they called him a nut job that whole year Untill its return
Comet Halley was last visible to us in 1997. It only appears about every 75 or 76 years. It is predicted to be visible again on the 28th July 2061.
HayleysComet will come about 2061!!!!!!!!!!!! It last came in 1986.
It can be seen every 75-76 years. The next predicted perihelion of Halley's Comet will be 28 July 2061.
The next notable comet expected to be visible in the northern hemisphere is Comet Leonard (C/2021 A1) in December 2021. This comet is predicted to be visible to the naked eye and is anticipated to be a significant event for skywatchers.
The next notable comet scheduled to pass by Earth is Comet Leonard, which is expected to be visible in December 2021. It will be the brightest comet of the year and should be observable with binoculars or a small telescope from dark sky locations. Keep an eye out for updates from astronomers as the date approaches for the best viewing opportunities.
