IMO the person requesting the test should be the one to pay for it if it comes out they are related (the father for example) and if it comes out that they are notrelated (i.e. NOT the father after all) then the mother should be the one to pay.
Just my 2 cents
You can have DNA testing, such as paternity, ancestry, etc. done through www.dnatesting.com. You pay for the test and mail you sample to them. The test is done privately at your discretion.
Blood tests can test for DNA. DNA tests can be used to make sure that the baby's DNA matches the parents' DNA.
Chewing tobacco can potentially affect the result of a DNA test by contaminating the sample with DNA from the tobacco residue. This could lead to inaccurate results or difficulties in interpreting the test. It is recommended to avoid using tobacco products before providing a DNA sample.
No. DNA is quite conclusive. It is even able to tell which person (for example) is the father even if the two possibilites are closely related such as brothers. DNA test results are not subjective - there is no human "reading" the results and drawing conclusions. You either match or you don't. The only inconclusive tests will be if there are identical twins involved or if the DNA sample is corroded (ie quite old).
According to city journal in winter 2000, an individual DNA test would cost only about $50-$100 to perform, but you will probably have needed to pay more then, as service has not been acoounted for, unless you are doing it yourself.
Do I pay for a dna test when there’s a court order is involved?
No but there will be proof when either you willingly take a DNA test to prove you are not the father or when the mother obtains a court order for a DNA test to prove that you are.

In order to pay child support there would've been a DNA test taken to determine that you really are the father. If you can prove you are not the father with a new DNA test you can go to court and stop the child support. If the mother refuses to help with the DNA test you can get a court order for it.
The father can request a DNA test through the family court and once paternity can be established he can request a visitation schedule and pay child support. The father can request a DNA test through the family court and once paternity can be established he can request a visitation schedule and pay child support. The father can request a DNA test through the family court and once paternity can be established he can request a visitation schedule and pay child support. The father can request a DNA test through the family court and once paternity can be established he can request a visitation schedule and pay child support.
if someone had taken a DNA test when a child was about 6 months old only to find out that he was the Dad 4 years later. Is this possible or should he get another DNA test done?
If not ordered to, they are not required to, and all fathers should run Paternity tests on all their children. see link below
No but you need to prove it with proof like DNA test.
In order to pay child support there have to be proof you are the father so a DNA test is taken.
Yes, get a court order for a DNA-test and he have to do it.
The DNA test result is positive.
He could still be obligated to pay child support.see links
