Herbivores. In a food chain, energy is passed from one link to another. When a herbivore eats, only a fraction of the energy (that it gets from the plant food) becomes new body mass; the rest of the energy is lost as waste or used up by the herbivore to carry out its life processes (e.g., movement, digestion, reproduction). Therefore, when the herbivore is eaten by a carnivore, it passes only a small amount of total energy (that it has received) to the carnivore.
Tapirs are herbivores and depending on where they live, they might eat leaves, grasses, bamboo, twigs and lots of different types of fruit. http://www.squidoo.com/tapir
find out on the internet ther r MILLIONS of things from all around the world
They are omnivores. If they are extremely hungry and can't catch any meat, they will eat berries or anything they can find, even if its herbs or just savanna grass.
Grubs are herbivores as they feed on the roots of plants, decaying vegetation, and other such organisms. You can find grubs living at the base of many types of vegetative plants.
For cell, kill Nosey or Bloaty because they have the omnivore part (proboscis) or look in meteor bits for the part. Also, I find it useful to get a jaw and put the filter mouth on the sides of it so the only the tips are visible around the jaw, like whiskers, and the jaw will eat plants as well. For creature, depending on what you were in cell (carnivore, herbivore, omnivore) you can only get that mouth BUT when I play, I do it as a carnivore, and when I put on the legs, the put the filter mouth on his stomach so I will be considered a carnivore that can eat fruit. I prefer the carnivore space consequence trait, but meat is scarce. Also, for cell, you can just be an herbivore and eat eggs, which count as meat, or alternate what type of food you eat. SporeFan: Or you can just put on 2 different mouths. Carnivore and herbivore.

A raccoon is an omnivore. No wonder you find them in the dumpster.
No, a brush rabbit is not a carnivore; it is a herbivore. Brush rabbits primarily eat a diet of grasses, herbs, and shrubs. They are known for their preference for dense brushy areas where they can find ample vegetation to feed on.
a carnivore would be an animal that eats meat and the carnivore in a food chain would depend on what animals are int the food changeFor example: if the animals in a food chain are snake leaves and mice the the snake would be the carnivore

A flatfish is a herbivore. It is a little bit differed t to explain but I'm sure it is a herbivores. because a flatfish eats only algae. people say that they eat dog-whelks but that isn't the true. people find it out and the fact is that they only eat plant so it is a herbivore
Flounder is not an herbivore. It would be considered a carnivore because it's diet consists of fish spawn, polychaetes, crustaceans, and small fish.
i presume you mean CARNIVORE eggs not HERBIVORE eggs. you can get some on nests. there's only one nest on every map and some actually don't have it. it's a great source of pokke points if you brought it to the red box at base camps. note: those maps that has a "thing" to carry (crystals and ores) does not has carnivore eggs. Mountain, jungle, great jungle, great forest, has some carnivore eggs. note: you can't bring it home.
Carnivore.
