German Sheppard's are usually (always) very loyal unless raised in a bad way. Most German Sheppard's are cop dogs or guard dogs. They are very well known to behave and respect their owners. But then again, it depends on the owner's attitude and responsibility traits! :)
No, the German Shepherd is classes as a working/herding dog.But they can be used as sporting dogs. They often are used as guard dogs too.A dog that could be common in sporting such as dog races would be a Pharaoh Hound or a Greyhound. Maybe a Great Dane.
Good Question. It is probably not proven historically why Ares's symbols would be a dog and a vulture but... My best guess is that... when a battle was fought, the carrion birds would gather and wait. They would watch the battle and when it was over was a feast of rotting and decaying humans. SInce vultures are often thought of as the representative carrion birds, they would be a good choice. As for the dog, dogs can be vicious but for exact reasons, I am not sure.
sometimes, but it is always a good idea to get them cooled down. You also have to remember about the dogs daily exercise. A husky will NOT make a good apartment dog.
Dogs do not necessarily need beef to eat. Beef can be a good source of protein, vitamins, and minerals for dogs, but there are other protein sources that can also meet their nutritional needs such as chicken, fish, and lamb. It ultimately depends on the individual dog's dietary requirements and preferences.
Dogs have dichromatic vision, meaning they have two types of color receptors (blue and yellow/green) compared to humans, who have three types (red, green, and blue). They see the world in shades of blue and yellow, lack red and green color vision, and have better vision in low light conditions.
German Shepherds as they are intellegent, loyal and easy to train and Huskies do NOT make good Guides... The slightest distraction could put a Husky off its role as a guide.
Yes, German Shepherds are brilliant dogs and they are very loyal. They will protect you too. iI have a German Shepherd and she is very loyal, loves kids and gets along with other dogs too. I would defiantly recommend a German Shepherd as a pet.Yeah, I personally think that German Shepherds are the best dogs to have with a family. They are loyal, and great with children. If you are going to pick a dog, you should defiantly pick the German Shepherd Dog.However like all dogs, German Shepherds can be very vicious if they aren't trained properly so if you plan to have one, especially around children, make sure it receives proper training so it doesn't bite anybody.
German Shepherds have an natural instinct to guard you from strangers, but if socialized properly with humans AND DOGS they will not attack unless you are in danger.
German Shepherds are great pets to have around. They obey and they are good guard dogs. You should get a German Shepherd ! The only bad thing is that they sometimes bite when they play and they shed.
Yes, they are. But, REMEMBER TO BE NICE! German Shepherd Dogs will be aggressive if they feel threatened!
Yes if they are properly socialized at a young age.
No, I suggest a retriever, cocker spaniel, or an english settler.
