My 7 yr. old grand daughter, Sakina says, it's because they embody the spirit of children and because they are so small and they grow up in a small place. And because Santa wants to keep Toy Land a secret.
let me put this in a nice way.. elves are not real so there for they can not let people visit the north pole.
That depends if you believe in Santa Claus or not. If you do, then there are most likely more elves than could possibly be counted within a day. If you don't, I'd imagine you have come to the conclusion that there are no elves at the North Pole because they would all drown in the Arctic Ocean. ~0_0

Fortunaly Sanata's elves HElp Santa get reday to binng all of the present to the naughty little girls and boys.
yes they are so small you need a microscope to see them.
Elves are small, so Santa has many elves. They are also good workers, with lots of holiday cheer, who like to make children happy on Christmas.
Santa's elves are particularly small because they are dwarfs. They are specifically small because they are DWARF PEOPLE!
What the big fued was about was that they hate each other and elves pay out how small they look and how stupid their beards look... so the dwarves hate the elves because of that.
this is because elves have a small brain and they don't understand what they say much, they are retards basically :)
Elves are Shelves are not robots. They are just small dolls that you place on a shelf (mantle).
sorry, elves don't exist. so no
elves aren't real, so in any case, nothing.
The answer is going to vary depending upon what story and what set of legends or fairy tales you wish to base the answer on. In the majority of stories, elves are depicted as being very small. Small Elves * The house elves in Harry Potter series are much shorter than people. * The elves in The Shoemaker and the Elves are on the small side. * The movie Elf had small elves * The Santa Clause movies had small, as well as young, elves. Tall Elves * J. R. R. Tolkien's Elves (The Lord of the Rings, etc) are physically the same as Men (although the different human peoples vary in size, so some are shorter). * The books in the Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini, also had tall thin elves
In many mythologies and folklore, elves are actually depicted as tall, slender and graceful beings, not tiny. The idea of tiny elves may have been popularized in more recent fantasy literature and media, where elves are sometimes portrayed as diminutive magical creatures for storytelling purposes.
The quality of the elf depends...fat elves live to be 660, healthy elves live to be 720! The are midgets so they rock santas sliegh
Elves, in real life, are just people who are 'small' or a 'midget' because of some disease or condition. They do NOT have pointed ears and do NOT work for Santa. They are just normal people.
Wood elves, high elves, dark elves, light elves.
