Why are plants necessary to the survival of all animals on earth and why?

because they are the only creature that does not need to be fed.they feed others and make there own.they are the first in the food cycle (like rabbits eat carrots,wolfs eat rabbits,....).the carrot is the first which is the plant.

Because plants are the primary producers, meaning that they are the only ones that can trap atmospheric CO2 and convert it into usable form of energy i.e. monosaccharides, glucose for example. Also, they are very important to reduce the atmospheric CO2 level, which is toxic to animals. They also release O2 i.e. oxygen, necessary for survival of animals, using which, the animals carry out the process of respiration i.e. breakdown of complex food material into simpler one in the presence of oxygen. In this way, plants are important for survival of animals.
