The tribes in the Amazon are very Dependent on the Rainforest. They get their healthcare from it, their clothes (if they wear any!) and, of course, their food.
Unfortunatly quite a few years ago other Humans came and gave them deadly diseases like Tuberculosis and measles, but lukily they get healthcare from carers and the forest. The carers come and treat wounds and inoculate the children. Because of the origins of these these tribes come from Portugese language, the children get taught the language from a very young age.
They also create their very unique homes with the resources accessible, like the Yanamani, who are known for being great warriors. They live in a round thatch house that is estimated at 400 metres in circumference. It is very open from the inside and there is no such thing as privacy. They sleep in hammocks that are made from wooden branches. They share with each other and they own nothing independently. When a visitor comes they welcome them by wearing intimidating clothing dressed to kill as it is one of their excuses to celebrate, they even have their own 'rainforest cocktail'!

Natural Selection is any trait that helps you live. So adaptation is important b/c it helps you live. Take moths for an example, if they don't blend into their surroundings, then they will get eaten by a predator. Adaptations help the animals live, thats why its important to natural selection. Hope this helps! ~Bubbles<3
