Every animal is important it its own way.
the ecosystem will be unbalenced because the krill that blue whales used to eat will reproduce again and again and soon there will be too many of them
Killer whales are apex predators in the ecosystem, meaning they are at the top of the food chain. They primarily feed on marine mammals such as seals, sea lions, and occasionally other whales. Their role in controlling populations of prey species helps to maintain a healthy balance in the marine ecosystem.
Krill serve as a vital food source for many species in the Antarctic ecosystem, including whales, seals, and seabirds. They help transfer energy from phytoplankton to higher trophic levels, playing a crucial role in the food web. Additionally, krill play a key role in carbon sequestration as they consume phytoplankton near the ocean's surface and transport the carbon to deeper waters when they die.
An example of commensalism in the marine ecosystem is that of the remora and whales. Remora attach themselves to the whales and ride and eat scraps, but the whales neither gain nor are harmed by this relationship.
Lichens are important to an ecosystem because they
Orcas, also known as killer whales, are the main predators of whales in the ocean ecosystem.
Water.
They keep the ecosystem in balance and killer whales and some sharks feed on them.
the depletion of the number or whales will lead to the decrease in other sea life
Think about it. God created whales and people are killing whales we are not only killing off his creation, we are disrupting the ecosystem.
Whales are not needed for food, only to make money for humans, and if poaching or hunting of whales is not stopped they will one day be extinct. Many do not realize that whales helps our ecosystem by reducing carbon in the atmosphere. Whales consumes large amounts of plankton and phytoplankton. Without whales, our oceans would be full of these organisms, and that would dangerously cause an imbalance in our ecosystem.

No I can't answer this question
sharks,whales,parahnas,catfish,and coral
Whales
they are not important.
well... it depends what you're talking about...and what perspective you are seeing it from. If your thinking that there are too many whales, wrong, there arent enough. Whales should really be saved because the ecosystem of the ocean relies on whales for many things, and for us, they are pretty to watch, so without whales, the ecosystem of the ocean would undergo many changes, and not for the better. Also, whaling is still legal in Japan, Norway, and Iceland. Which is terrible because these poor whales are getting slaughtered for no good reason! SAVE THE WHALES!
