Well, I'm no expert, but I'd say you most likely have a serious problem. Water and electricity do not mix. You may have a naked wire that's electrifying the wall when it gets wet. I would recommend getting it looked at right away, before it becomes a major problem.

What happened for cell wall in heat shock protocol?

In a heat shock protocol, cells are subjected to a rapid increase in temperature, which can lead to stress on cellular structures, including the cell wall. This heat can cause the cell wall to become more permeable, potentially allowing substances to pass through more easily. Additionally, the stress may trigger the expression of heat shock proteins, which help in repairing and stabilizing cellular components, including the cell wall. Overall, the heat shock response can lead to alterations in cell wall integrity and composition as the cell attempts to recover from the stress.

What size LVL should be used for a flushed header supporting a 2X8 floor load when making an interior wall opening of 16-0?

Is it a load bearing wall or a partition wall? Load bearing will require information such as, roof dimensions, slope of roof, location of building, and number of floors above. Some people can throw a general size but it's well worth getting the beam sized. It's more about protecting your finishes (dry wall cracking etc. ), bouncing floors, sagging roof, etc., than it is about wether the building will stand or not.
