If God created us then one reason it may have created us different and not the same is so that we'd have a little variety in our lives. If we were all the same, we wouldn't need the free will test because we'd all choose the same responses.
well each church may have a different religion e.g. Jewish, catholic, Christianity, Muslim and all of them may either have the same god or a different god like Muslims have Allah and christians have god its all to do with religions and there all the same because they all have one thing in common they all talk about their gods and all believe that its him/her who created the world and such :D

My own opinion about this is that God has sent different Messengers with His instructions, teachings, etc., at different times, but not all people recognize the different representatives as coming from one and the same God. Note, also, that not all religions actually believe in one single god.
