Kepler-22b was given its the designation Kepler as it is one of many planets discovered by the Kepler observatory. The 22b refers to it being the innermost (and only known) planet orbiting the star Kepler-22.
Johannes Kepler found out that planets move in ellipses and move at variable speeds as they travel round the sun. The former theory of Copernicus was not wrong, but Kepler's theory was found to be more accurate when accurate observational methods were developed. Later Kepler's theory was backed up by theory when Newton's law of gravitation came along. However in the 20th century Einstein's theory of relativity produced some small corrections to the Kepler/Newton theory.

The Sun does NOT lie at the centre of an ellipse. The Sun is at one of the two foci of an ellipse. Have you ever drawn an ellipse with two pins a piece of string and pencil on a board. Insert the two pins into the board/paper. Loosely loop the string over the pins, and tighten with the edge of a pencil. Keeping the string taught with the pencil you can draw an ellipse. The positions of the two pins are the foci of the ellipse. Astronomically, the Sun lies at one of these pins. This was discovered by the Astronomer , Johannes Kepler, who gave us the law, that the Earth sweeps equal arcs in equal times about the Sun . The other focus may be thought of as a 'blind' focus. Have a look in Wikipedia under 'Johannes Kepler'. NB The plural of the noun 'focus' is 'foci'. 'Focuses' is when the word 'focus' is being used as a verb.
Kepler-186f is located approximately 500 light-years away from Earth in the constellation Cygnus. It is notable for being the first Earth-sized exoplanet discovered in the habitable zone of its star, making it a subject of interest in the search for potentially habitable worlds beyond our solar system.
His mother was accused of being a witch.
Johannes Kepler
The universe was really three-dimensional, and instead of thinking of circles, he should be thinking about spheres, with the planetary orbits being along the equators
The circular orbits that were being used at the time to model the solar system did not quite work with mathematical predictions or observations. Kepler found that elliptical orbits provided more accurate predictions of where the heavenly bodies would appear in the sky.

Johannes Kepler discovered that the Earth revolves/orbits the Sun in an ELLIPSE. He also discovered that the Sun is NOT at the centre of the ellipse, but at one of the foci ; (plural of focus). The other focal point being 'blind'. From this we have the definition, that as the Earth orbits the Sun , 'It sweeps equal arcs in equal times'. As the Earth orbits, it speeds up and slows down. It is moving at its fastest when passing the Sun at it nearest point ( perigee) and slowest when at its furthest point ( apogee). Have a look in Wikipedia under' Johannes Kepler.
Kepler developed the Laws of Planetary motion, which include the orbits of planets being elliptical.
Joan had been found guilty in a rigged trial of heresy in an ecclesiastical court and the punishment for heresy was death by being burned at the stake.
Goldsteinism was the heresy of heresies. However it emerged that "Goldsteinism" was created by Big Brother to entrap opponents of the regime. For a human being to insist 2 and 2 make 4 in defiance of the party saying otherwise was Winston Smith's major heresy.

Kepler's mother was a healer and herbalist who was accused of being a witch in 1615.
if he was a baptized member of the church and he rejected an article of faith, then yes. if he rejected any article of faith without being a baptized member of the church then he is free of heresy.
