this is a guess for me too. but some studies show that o external NADH produce less ATP. This is because o external NADH does not go through all the protein complexes.

How many GTP molecules are produced during glycolysis?

Glycolysis only produces ATP. GTP is produced during the Citric Acid Cycle (Krebs Cycle).

Which produces more energy Krebs cycle or glycolysis?

The Krebs cycle (or citric acid cycle) produces more energy in the form of ATP compared to glycolysis. The Krebs cycle generates 36-38 ATP molecules per glucose molecule, while glycolysis only produces a net gain of 2 ATP molecules.

What cycle produces the most NADH?

Electron Transport Chain. It produces 32 while the citric acid cycle (your teacher might call it the Krebs Cycle) produces 2 and glycolysis produces 2 (all those numbers are per ONE GLUCOSE MOLECULE) Electron Transport Chain. If you combine the ATP molecules produced during glycolysis and the ATP molecules produced during the Krebs cycle how many total ATP molecules will result?

The glycolysis process produces a net of 2 ATP molecules, while the Krebs cycle produces 2 ATP molecules directly. So, combining these, a total of 4 ATP molecules are produced from one molecule of glucose.

What is a series enzyme assisted chemical reactions following glycolysis that produces carbon dioxide?

Krebs cycle.

Is the product of glycolysis that enters the Krebs cycle?

Fats and proteins are brought into the Krebs cycle by being converted. They can either be converted to glucose or acetyl which will go through Krebs cycle.

In cellular respiration glycolysis follows the Krebs cycle true or false?

False. In cellular respiration, glycolysis occurs before the Krebs cycle. Glycolysis is the first step in breaking down glucose to produce energy. The Krebs cycle follows glycolysis in the process of cellular respiration.

How many ATP are produced in the Krebs cycle?

In a complete Krebs Cycle, 24 ATP are produced. Every glucose molecule produces 2 ATP, and there are 12 glucose molecules.

When does Calvin cycle begin?

When acetyl CoA and oxaloacetate is present.

Which of these processes is used to make the ATP produced by glycolysis?

The process used to make ATP produced by glycolysis is oxidative phosphorylation, which occurs in the mitochondria. This involves the electron transport chain and ATP synthase, where the electrons generated by glycolysis are used to generate ATP.

In the presence of oxygen glycolysis is followed by?

Krebs cycle.

How much ATP is produced in the Krebs cycle?

The Krebs cycle produces a total of 2 ATP molecules per glucose molecule.
