As the year progresses the earth moves around the sun. We can see the stars which are on the far side of the earth from the sun. At different times of the year, the region of space the earth's night side points to is different. If you have problems visualising it, put a lamp or an orange in the middle of the room to represent the sun. Now you are the earth. Stand with your back to the 'sun' and notice which parts of the room you can see. Now walk around say a quarter of your 'orbit' and repeat. You should now be able to see different parts of the room.

What makes the earth change seasons?

The Earth's seasons changes by the tilt of the Earth.

Do galaxies change with the seasons because earth is traveling around the sun?

No, galaxies do not change with the seasons because of Earth's movement around the Sun. The change in seasons on Earth is due to the tilt of its axis relative to its orbit around the Sun. Galaxies are vast collections of stars, gas, and dust that remain relatively unchanged on large timescales.

What are the seasons of the earth caused by?

The seasons on Earth are caused by its axial tilt as it orbits the Sun. As Earth moves around the Sun, different parts of the planet receive varying amounts of sunlight, resulting in changes in temperature and weather patterns.

How are the seasons created and what factors contribute to their changing patterns throughout the year?

The seasons are created by the tilt of the Earth's axis as it orbits the sun. This tilt causes different parts of the Earth to receive varying amounts of sunlight throughout the year, leading to the changing patterns of the seasons. Factors such as the Earth's orbit, axial tilt, and distance from the sun all contribute to the changing patterns of the seasons.

Why is knowing the tilt of the earth's axis important?

Knowing the tilt of the Earth's axis is important because it causes the change in seasons. This tilt is responsible for the variations in sunlight and temperature differences that create summer and winter. Understanding the tilt helps in predicting climate patterns and agricultural seasons.

What does Earth's tilt on its own axis cause?

The change in seasons

Why do the earth's seasons change?

when the earth spins dumbshit

Is NOT a direct result of Earth's rotation?

The change in seasons is not a direct result of Earth's rotation. Seasons are caused by Earth's axial tilt and its orbit around the Sun. Earth's rotation affects the length of a day and the creation of day and night, but not the change in seasons.

What causes the seson to change?

The changing of seasons is mainly caused by the tilt of the Earth's axis as it orbits the sun. This tilt causes different parts of the Earth to receive varying amounts of sunlight throughout the year, resulting in the four seasons. Temperature changes, weather patterns, and daylight length also contribute to the shifting of seasons.

Why do constellations change with seasons?

Constellations appear to change with the seasons because Earth's orbit around the sun causes us to see different parts of the night sky during different times of the year. As Earth moves, the position of the stars relative to the sun changes, causing different constellations to become visible at different times.

Why are seasons important to life on earth?

seasonal change made life possible on the earth by energy from sun heats this layer; and the surface below ; causing expansion of the air.
