The reason you need enzymes is because without enzymes reactions that would normally occur with enzymes would take longer to occur or would never occur. Like the metabolism of glucose. Enzymes lower the activation energy of a reaction. To metabolize glucose without an enzyme would take a long time because it would require a large amount of heat. The enzyme is beneficial because it will lower the heat needed to metabolize glucose. Your muscles need glucose to contract and therefore without enyzmes around to lower the amount of heat or the activation energy needed to break down glucose your muscles would be unable to contract when you need them to.

enzymes :)

What are the enzymes in your body and what are their reaction that they affects in the body?

There are 1000's of enzymes in the body. In a biochemical pathway there maybe be multiple enzymes used! for examply, glycolysis..

Would happen if cells had no enzymes?

Enzymes are protein in cells that lower the energy of a reaction. Without enzymes, reactions would need more energy than the body can make. This would cause death of the cells.

Are all catalists enzymes?

No,enzymes are only found in the body.. Enzymes are biological catalysts.

Why do you need enzymes?

Enzymes are needed because they act as biological catalysts, speeding up chemical reactions in the body. They are essential for various cellular functions such as digestion, metabolism, and energy production. Without enzymes, many biochemical reactions would occur too slowly to sustain life.

What nutrient makes enzymes?

Protien makes enzymes, and repairs your body.

Does DNA need enzymes to replicate?

Yes,they need enzymes for replication.Helicase, ligase are some.

Where do digestive enzymes originate from in the body?

Digestive enzymes originate from various glands in the body, such as the salivary glands, stomach, pancreas, and small intestine. These enzymes help break down food into nutrients that can be absorbed by the body.

If all enzymes are proteins but all proteins are not enzymes then what makes enzymes different fr?

Enzymes are proteins, but as you can imagine, different parts of the body need different types of enzymes to work efficiently. Can you imagine the enzymes which break down food in the process of digestion being replaced by the enzymes which assist respiration or photosynthesis? It wouldn't work. Each type of enzyme controls different chemical processes.
