Sea water consists of large amounts of salt water. The prossess of osmosis makes the concentration of water equal on both sides. So when you add salt water to plants, the pant cells have a higher concentration of water inside the cell than outside so through passive transport the water inside the cell goes into the enviorment. Thus leaving not alot of water if any in the cell which casuses the cells to die, which causes the plant to die.

Why plants which are not watered for some time will bend and wilt?

because the reason that some plants stay upright is that the cels are filled with water until they are rigid. this is called a turgid plant cell. and when they are not watered these cells cannot maintain a turgid state and this will cause the plant to loose its shape or form.
