For any chemical reaction, there is what is called an activation energy that is required to make that reaction happen. Methane and oxygen both exist as molecules in which there are molecular bonds. In methane, the carbon is bonded to the hydrogen, and in diatomic oxygen, the two oxygen atoms are bonded to each other. So, before the oxygen can bond to the carbon and the hydrogen, all of those existing bonds have to be broken. Once the process begins it is self-sustaining, because it releases a lot of energy, more than enough to break the existing bonds in methane and oxygen. But you still need the activation energy to get things started. This would normally come in the form of a spark. It just takes one small spark to set off an explosion, if you have a mixture of methane and oxygen. Or a pilot light, to light your gas stove.
All the combustion reactions I know of are exothermic because heat is released instead of absorbed. And propane gives more energy than methane cause it has more Cs and Hs to react with Oxygen, so one mole of propane will react more and form more product than one mole of methane and giving out more energy. I dont know
Factors that impact your ability to react to a stimulus include your level of alertness, the complexity of the task, previous experience with similar stimuli, the presence of distractions, and your emotional state. Additionally, factors such as fatigue, illness, and certain medications can also affect your reaction time.
if u put fire by it maby I dont really know, do you?
noble gases are those gases which dont react with anything. they are also called inert gases. oxygen is not one of them because it does react; infact, all the burning processes cant take place without oxygen.
A metal that does not react to acid, oxygen or water does not exist.
personally i dont think anything will happen but im not sure

The major atom in methane that contributes to climate change is carbon. When methane is released into the atmosphere, it reacts with oxygen to form carbon dioxide (CO2), which is a greenhouse gas that traps heat and contributes to global warming.
they dont react at all...
They dont react because they dont hibernate because their food lasts every year
it is so important that it dont react because lots of people use it and it has a very high energy
Burning methane is a chemical reaction where methane gas (CH4) is combined with oxygen (O2) to produce carbon dioxide (CO2) and water (H2O). This reaction releases energy in the form of heat and light, making it a common method for generating heat or electricity. However, burning methane also produces carbon dioxide emissions, contributing to climate change.
they dont react to badly but however they do feel betrayed.
i dont think it does :)
They dont
no i dont think so they make oxygen so i dont think they need it
