Why human beings is not rotating according to the earth rotation?

People cannot feel motion in a straight line at a constant speed, but we can feel accelerations.

Rotation involves a change of direction. That is an acceleration in scientific terms.

However, the change of direction is too gradual to feel.

Everything on this earth stays still because of gravity. We do move with the earth but because were always in the same spot ( unless we move as in: walk somewhere different) We don't notice we are moving because the land around us isnt.

We're actually riding around on the spinning Earth, but because the atmosphere is ALSO spinning with the Earth, we aren't directly conscious of the movement. Standing at the equator, your speed standing still is pretty close to 1050 miles per hour. At the poles, you aren't moving at all. In between, we can calculate your velocity as a function of your latitude.

For example, I live near Sacramento, CA, USA. We're at about 38 degrees north latitude, and so our speed is about 750 MPH. Sure doesn't feel like it!

Actually, the reason you don't notice Earth's rotation is because its rate of rotation is constant. We feel changes in velocity but not velocity itself. If you divide Earth's equatorial circumference by the 24 hours it takes to complete each rotation, you get about 1038 miles per hour or about 1670 km/h. Gravity keeps everything from flying off into space like someone on one of those small carousels in the park.

BTW, to get the approximate speed due to rotation of Earth's surface where you are, multiply the speed above by the cosine of your latitude.

Think about it. Everything DOES move, right along with the earth's surface. That is the reason that things, including our own bodies, can appear to be motionless. The earth is very large; the equator is close to 26,000 miles long. This means that at the equator the earth is rotating at a shade over 1000 miles per hour. The rotation is very uniform, although very slight changes we can't feel can and do occur. Even the atmosphere moves along with the earth pretty much, although it is 'fluid' enough to change in accordance with weather patterns. We don't slip and slide around, because the rotation rate is so stable. If the earth's rotation were speeding up or slowing down to any great degree, we would have a big problem.

It is very much like what happens in an automobile. When the driver is accelerating, you feel yourself pushing back into your seat. As soon as the car STOPS accelerating, you stop feeling the push against your back. When you are driving at a completely uniform speed-- you are not speeding up and you are not slowing down-- your back rests against the back of your seat in exactly the same way that it does when the car is at a complete stop. Don't believe that? It's true.
